The Neon Men’s Halfway House is a work release program offering residential and treatment services with an emphasis on support, education, and guidance to assist offenders with securing employment and promoting successful reentry into the community.
Services include: Room and Board; Needs Assessment and Individual Treatment Plans; Substance Abuse Counseling; Life Skills Workshops; GED Classes; Job Development; Transportation Assistance; Employment and Housing Assistance; and referrals to area agencies.

Eligibility:
Services are available to males, ages 18 and over, who have been referred by the Connecticut Department of Correction.
Exclusions:
Offenders with sexual offense convictions within the past 10 years, 1st degree arson charges, or prior removal for major violations from a Neon community program within the past 5 years are grounds for exclusion.
Length of Program:
Average length of stay is 90 days.
Maximum length of stay does not exceed 120 days.
