Three NEON Programs Among City Restaurants/Food Establishments Receiving Health Dept. Award
Three NEON programs were recognized by the Norwalk Board of Health as among city food establishments maintaining the highest rating during recent inspections.

- NEON, Inc. Benjamin Franklin Center
The announcement was made by the Norwalk Health Department to publicize their the fifth annual Restaurant Ratings Lighthouse Awards. The program was established by the Norwalk Board of Health to recognize city food establishments maintaining the highest rating for the four most recent inspections.
The three NEON programs were among one hundred sixty six (166) class three and four food establishments that qualified for this distinction for 2012. Each establishment will receive a certificate for display on premises.
In order to qualify:
*The people working in these establishments have exhibited safe food handling practices
*A qualified food operator was always on site.
*A score of 90 or higher without critical violations was obtained for each inspection.
The Norwalk Health Department will present certificates to awardees at a ceremony this Tuesday, January 8th at 4 p.m. at Continental Manor, 112 Main St., Norwalk, CT.
